Many people believe that the dust removal bag in a coking plant is the most important, so they only pay attention to the maintenance of the dust removal bag, but ignore the issue of the need for maintenance of the bag filter. Sometimes it is thought that the bag filter is outdated and repair is a waste of cost. The maintenance work of high-temperature filter bags and bag filters under normal operation is often overlooked. Once the bag filter malfunctions, it will affect its operation.
The maintenance of bag type dust collectors can promptly identify and handle problems, so as not to escalate into major faults and waste a large amount of maintenance costs. Therefore, the maintenance content and time of the equipment should be determined based on the usage conditions, product manual, maintenance unit, and operator experience of the bag filter, and regular maintenance should be carried out.
1、 Box maintenance
The box of the bag filter is fixed, and the outside of the bag filter is exposed to wind and sun, while the inside of the bag filter is also subjected to gas damage. Therefore, both the inner and outer parts of the box bag dust collector body need to be maintained.
1. External maintenance
The external maintenance of the bag filter mainly checks the paint, bolts, and sealing conditions. When the bag filter processes some high temperature and humidity gases, rock wool, Glass wool, polyphenyl ester and other thermal insulation layers will be added outside to prevent the bag filter from condensation and safety. After the insulation layer is wetted by rainwater, it will accelerate the corrosion of the box. Therefore, when it rains, it is necessary to pay full attention to the condition of the box of the bag filter placed in the open air.
2. Internal maintenance
The interior of the box is often in a corrosive and harsh environment, and the welding parts and flower plate holes are highly susceptible to corrosion. Therefore, corrosion-resistant coatings should be applied to the interior and corrosion-prone parts of the bag filter box.
3. Gap maintenance
The gaps in the box of a bag type dust collector are usually filled with rubber, rubber pads, asbestos pads, etc. to prevent gas leakage, but over time, the sealing pads will age, deteriorate, or even fall off. Therefore, it is necessary to pay more attention to the gaps to avoid further air leakage.
2、 Ash hopper maintenance
If there is too much dust in the ash hopper, it will block the air inlet, leading to poor suction and a nearly empty state. In addition, excessive dust in the ash hopper can increase resistance, reduce processing air volume, and cause dust that has already fallen to be blown up and block the breathable holes of the cloth bag. Therefore, it is important to pay attention to the amount of dust accumulated in the ash hopper of the bag filter.
3、 Valve maintenance
1. Maintenance during operation
Pay attention to the opening and closing (flexibility and accuracy), sealing, water leakage, cooling water displacement, drainage temperature, winter freezing conditions, the operation status of the driving device (cylinder or electric cylinder), and the operation status of the air source accessories of the bag filter valve.
2. Maintenance during parking
Pay attention to whether the valve of the bag filter is deformed, damaged, sealed, flexible in operation, and connected to the electrical control part. During the operation of the equipment, it is necessary to strictly control and prohibit toxic gases from entering the system. After the equipment is stopped, air should also be used to exhaust the gas inside the system to prevent potential accidents. At the same time, cut off the main power supply of the switch.
