So how should a bag filter handle the smoke and dust with sparks? To prevent sparks from entering the bag filter, the following measures should be taken:

1. Set up pre dust collector and cooling pipeline

A cyclone or inert dust collector is installed in front of the bag filter as a pre dust collector to capture coarse dust and sparks. Using this method, too fine particles and sparks are not easily captured, and in most cases, the particulate dust can be burned out before entering the dust collector.

Install a cooling pipeline after the pre dust collector and control the flow rate inside the pipeline to minimize it. This is a relatively reliable technical measure that allows the gas to have sufficient residence time in the tube.

2. Set cooling spray tower

Gas cooling method of direct water spray in advance. To ensure the safety and fire prevention of dust containing gases in the bag filter, the cooling water consumption is controlled and supplied.

Most of the burning dust can be cooled once it comes into contact with tiny water droplets, but water droplets are prone to gasification. In order to cool the combustion dust that has not yet come into contact with water droplets, necessary space and residence time should be provided.

Under special circumstances, the combination of spray tower, cooling pipe and pre dust remover is used to completely prevent sparks from mixing.

3. Setting up a Mars capture device

Installing a Mars capture device on a pipeline is a simple and feasible method. At the same time, a Mars alarm is installed. When the Mars passes through the trap, it can send an electrical signal to give an alarm. At the same time, it can stop the operation or change the gas circuit.
